Losing a policy is not usually an emergency, but it can slow down communication with the insurer or a reimbursement claim. Keep a copy of the policy and its number in a place you can access when travelling.
How to get a copy of your policy
- Contact the insurance broker or agent who arranged the policy. They can provide a copy or request one from the insurer.
- If you purchased the policy through EUROMEDINS, email [email protected] from the same email address that you used when placing the order. We will help you find the policy and send you a copy.
- You can also contact the insurer directly. The insurer can locate the policy in its records, although this route may take longer.
Policies purchased through EUROMEDINS
We keep policies for three years after they expire. On request, we can email you a copy or help arrange an official paper duplicate. Our help is free; postage or courier delivery is paid by the recipient.
If you need a copy because of an insured event or a reimbursement claim, include your full name and, if available, the policy number or approximate order date in your email. This helps us find the policy faster.
