Some insurers in Bulgaria divide sports and work-related risks into classes. The selected risk class can affect the price of the policy and the scope of cover.
Choose only the cover that is explicitly shown in the policy. If sports or work cover is not listed, do not assume it is included. Selecting a higher risk class does not automatically include all activities from a lower class. Extreme and high-risk activities are not covered.
Amateur sports
Amateur sports cover means participation in sports without organised competitions. It can include activities such as alpine skiing, cycling, roller skating or ice skating, depending on the selected insurer and risk class.

Work-related risks
Work that is not performed under a legal employment contract may not be recognised by the insurer. In simple terms, do not rely on insurance cover for an insured event directly connected with undeclared work.
