This page explains the payment methods available on our website and the delivery options for insurance policies. All policies are sent by email. If you also need the original paper policy, please select an appropriate physical delivery option when placing your order.

1. Payment methods

1. Card payment through ePay/BORICA. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and other supported cards. We do not charge a commission for card payments. Your bank or card provider may charge its own fees or convert the payment into euros at its own exchange rate. Card payments are normally confirmed in our system within 30 minutes.
2. Apple Pay and Google Pay. These options are available when supported by your device, card and payment provider. We do not charge an additional commission. Any bank fees or currency conversion are determined by your bank or payment provider.
3. PayPal. You can pay in euros using your PayPal account. We charge a 7% fee for this payment method. If your funds are held in another currency, PayPal applies its own exchange rate. PayPal payments are normally confirmed in our system within 30 minutes.
4. Bank transfer. You can pay to the broker’s bank account in Bulgaria. We begin processing the order after the funds have been credited to our account. A bank transfer may take up to 48 hours to be received and confirmed.
5. Cash on delivery through Speedy. This option is available only for physical deliveries within Bulgaria.

The insurance premium and any applicable delivery charge or payment-method fee are shown before the order is completed. We do not make automatic or recurring charges. If the price changes before the policy is issued, we will agree the new price with you before proceeding.

2. Electronic delivery

Every policy is sent to the email address provided with the order, regardless of whether physical delivery is also requested:

• electronically generated policies are sent as electronic documents;
• policies completed by hand are sent as scanned copies.

Mandatory medical insurance policies are normally sent within four working hours. Other types of insurance may take up to three working days, depending on the product, the insurer and the information required. These periods are calculated during our working hours and begin after we have received all necessary information and confirmed payment. Delivery outside working hours may be arranged in advance.

3. When an original paper policy is required

In our experience, a printed copy of the policy is accepted by most Bulgarian consulates, embassies and Migration Directorate offices. However, the Migration Directorate offices in Burgas and Blagoevgrad require the original policy bearing a wet stamp. Requirements at other offices may also vary.

Please check the requirements of the authority where you will submit your documents before choosing delivery. If an original is required, select physical delivery when placing your order or contact us as soon as possible.

4. Delivery within Bulgaria

Physical deliveries within Bulgaria are sent through Speedy.

1. Orders paid or marked for cash on delivery by 14:30 on a working day are handed over to Speedy on the same day.
2. Orders placed after 14:30 are handed over on the next working day unless otherwise agreed with us.
3. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are handed over on the first following working day.
4. Delivery to cities and larger settlements is normally made on the next delivery day, Monday to Saturday. Delivery to villages follows Speedy’s local schedule and may be available only two or three times per week.

5. Delivery charges within Bulgaria

• Orders below €55: €4 delivery to a Speedy office or €5 delivery to the customer’s address.
• Orders of €55 or more: free delivery to a Speedy office. Delivery to the customer’s address is paid by the customer.
• Orders of €78 or more: free delivery to a Speedy office or to the customer’s address.

6. Address information and tracking in Bulgaria

For delivery within Bulgaria, please provide the recipient’s full name, a Bulgarian telephone number and a complete delivery address, including the street or residential district, building or block number, entrance, floor and apartment where applicable.

If you cannot provide a complete address, select a specific Speedy office and enter its details as the delivery address. After the shipment has been handed over, we will provide its tracking number. The delivery schedule and the courier’s contact with the recipient are managed by Speedy. You can track the shipment on Speedy’s website.

7. Delivery outside Bulgaria

Physical delivery outside Bulgaria is available by registered post or DHL:

• Bulgarian Posts: registered letter with a tracking number; estimated delivery time from 1.5 to 4 weeks; price €10.
• DHL: tracked courier delivery; estimated delivery time up to four working days; price €60.

Orders completed before 12:00 on a working day may be handed over to the postal or courier service on the same day. Orders completed later are normally handed over on the next working day.

Delivery is available only to destinations served by Bulgarian Posts or DHL. Please provide the recipient’s full name, postal code, complete address and telephone number. Where the chosen carrier permits it, a shipment may instead be addressed for collection from a specified office or service point.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the carrier’s schedule, public holidays, local postal services and circumstances outside our reasonable control. After dispatch, we will provide the tracking number supplied by the carrier.

8. Delivery problems and returns

Please check the delivery details carefully before submitting your order and contact us promptly if you notice an error. Delivery charges already incurred are not refundable unless the problem was caused by our error or a refund is required by applicable law.
